Purchasing the Atlantis ILIO Appliance
Atlantis ILIO is sold as a physical 1u server appliance that is installed in each rack of VDI servers. There are two models of the ILIO appliance that are designed to support either 500 desktops or 1,000 desktops per VDI server rack. For deployments of larger than 1000 desktops, customers simply purchase the number of appliances necessary to meet the needs of their deployment.
Purchasing Atlantis ILIO Image Management
With the Atlantis ILIO appliance, the VDI Storage Reduction and VDI Performance Acceleration features included and activated. The VDI Image Management feature is disabled by default and purchased separately. To take advantage of Atlantis ILIO Image Management, you must purchase an additional license key that is entered into the Atlantis Computing appliance to activate the VDI Image Management feature.
